Redesign of the news portal
The Frankfurter Rundschau is an icon of the German press landscape and has shaped the opinions of generations of committed citizens both regionally and nationally. The new design of its website was developed in an intensive process of workshops and prototyping. With its new online presence, the FR presents itself as a daily newspaper that looks ahead while remaining true to its brand.
Live and curated
Basically, a distinction can be made between fast, daily news and curated content. To make this possible at first glance, current news (category “latest”) and curated articles (category “best”) each have their own distinctive appearance. Curated articles are additionally highlighted with author pictures, so that the reader can easily orientate himself and the author is highlighted.
