Design for Participation is a concept for a book publication that was developed as part of the research project in the Gutenberg Intermedia master's programme at Mainz University of Applied Sciences. The book deals with different types of participatory design and shows historical as well as contemporary projects from the fields of art and design. Important personalities, studios and groups are introduced. Interviews provide an insight into the work of various designers.
