Abendbrot
Development of a visual identity for a lecture evening
Self-initiated conception, design and organisation of the lecture evening “Abendbrot” at the University of Applied Sciences Mainz.
There is swearing, grinning and designing – everywhere and with fervour and passion. So at least we are already sure that successful designers are just normal people at the end of the day. Maybe just a little more insane to be in the position of wanting to make a living with design.
But what is it really like? Who in the large and small offices that are currently shaping the international design scene would like to embrace the whole world and who ever reads up on the bomb plans of the Anarchist Cookbook? It doesn't matter whether they are the founders of successful micro offices, the owners of renowned design studios, the main staff behind the big names, frustrated employees or successful young self-employed people.
On this evening, they will all have their say and talk for once not about their work, but about their work. About contentment, hatred of the world and maybe a little bit about design.
Under the title “Satisfaction, World Hate & Design”, Julian Zimmermann (Deutsche & Japaner), Helena Dietrich (Bureau Mario Lombardo), Andres Uebele (büro uebele), Henning Walther (hauser lacour) & Till Wiedeck (HelloMe) chatted in a cosy atmosphere from the secrets of the designer world.
